Tell us about your experience at MP2

I worked at three other places prior to joining MP2. I learned from those experiences that the people you work with are just as important as the type of work you do. I’m grateful to be a part of a team where I not only enjoy the work, but also the people I get to work with.

I also really appreciate the laid-back atmosphere at MP2. There’s no micromanagement here. Collaborative communication, autonomy and trust are valued. You won’t find that in every workplace.

When I was offered the job at MP2, I recall being told that it was a decision I wouldn’t regret. After 11 ½ years here, I can confidently say that’s proven to be true.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I really enjoy woodworking, which is something I watched my mom do growing up. Over the years, I’ve worked on a range of projects—from building furniture to crafting smaller pieces like a truck-shaped bookcase for my nephew.

I also enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s walking my dog, hiking or kayaking. My husband and I love to travel. By far our favorite trip was hiking in the mountains in Switzerland.

My dog Eddie, a six-year-old sheepadoodle, has visited the office a few times and is a furry ball of energy!

What is your favorite sports team?

I grew up watching the Packers every Sunday with my family. I still don’t miss a game and am looking forward to football season! I also follow the UW Badger volleyball team. It’s been fun to see that sport gain popularity over the past few years.

Old Fashioned or beer?

Brandy Old Fashioned, sweet with olives. The olives are an atypical order, but worth it!
