Jake is responsible for project engineering and management, as well as project budgeting. He provides constructability review and guidance to project team members. He provides technical expertise to clients and works with contractors to quickly resolve field issues during the construction phase.
Jake has over 12 years of structural engineering experience in the design and analysis of many structural systems, including conventional and composite structural steel, cold formed steel, reinforced concrete, tilt-up concrete, and wood framed. He has the lead engineer and/or project manager on a wide variety of projects such as corporate, hospital, multi-level residential, industrial, retail, water park resorts, and governmental. In addition, he has extensive 3D software structural analysis experience.
Jake attended the University of Wisconsin – Platteville’s College of Engineering where he received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural and Geotechnical Engineering emphases. He made the Dean’s Honor List and was a member of the student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). After graduation, he served as the Practitioner Advisor to the ASCE student chapter at UWP.
