MP-Squared provided the structural design for this single-story office expansion, which consisted of a 3,260-square- foot office addition slab on grade with steel roof joists, along with a large segmented curved wall. The concrete foundations and structural steel framing were designed for a future second story addition. The roof was designed with a concrete topping intended to become the future second floor; an elevator pit was construed with a temporary floor, which will be removed when the second story is built.
