MP-Squared provided structural design services for the addition and renovation of the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, donating a substantial portion of our design fee. The project scope included evaluating the existing structure for drifting snow and providing design features in the new addition that included framing to create the look of three silos, a special exhibit area supporting custom trusses with design limitations, a sunken seating area built into the foundation, and a massive fireplace inducing significant loads onto the supporting framing.
